and Conditions

McScotland Tours cannot take responsibility for economic losses that are not directly related to the tour.

 

The service that McScotland Tours offers DOES NOT include travel insurance, we recommend that both for this excursion and for the trip in general, travel insurance is contracted to cover cancellations, medical expenses, theft, etc.

 

Changes:

McScotland Tours reserves the right to make changes to prices, itineraries and/or routes, those will be communicated to the client, as soon as we can.

 

McScotland Tours reserves the right to change, cancel or alter routes whenever it deems necessary due to weather, safety or causes beyond our control.

 

McScotland Tours cannot be held responsible for events that are beyond their control which prevent the total or partial execution of the activity (road closed due to an accident, strike, traffic cuts. repairs, etc.).

 

McScotland Tours is not responsible for possible changes in services contracted to third parties, such as castles, tourist attractions, or any other third party implicated.

 

In the event of cancellations or problems with third-party suppliers for reasons beyond our control, the client must contact that third company to make the appropriate claims in accordance with their terms and conditions.

 

McScotland Tours is not responsible, legal or financially, for damages caused by third parties.

 

These third companies include restaurants, accommodations/hotels, buses, tourist attractions, and other companies contracted to carry out different tourist activities.

 

McScotland Tours reserves the right to change vehicles, if necessary, at any time.

 

Civil Liability

McScotland Tours will not be responsible for any accident, damage, or loss of life that the client suffers on any of our tours while the passenger is in their free time walking through any town, city or natural environment in which we stop, or in accommodation and tourist attractions that have been reserved on behalf of the passenger.

McScotland Tours meets all legal insurance requirements.

 

Cancellations:

In case of cancellation by the client, this must be done by email: info@mcscotlandtours.com and the cancellation policies will apply.

Cancellation of up to four weeks before the start of the tour – the amount paid less the deposit will be refunded.

Cancellation from 30 days before the start of the tour until the departure date, 100% of the total value of the tour will be retained.

 

If your stated reasons for cancellation are covered by an insurance policy, you will be able to make a claim under this procedure.

 

In the event of cancellations from our part, McScotland Tours will first try to arrange similar tours with other companies or arrange a new date with the passenger(s); if neither of these options is possible, the amount paid will be fully refunded.

 

In case of cancellation due to force majeure, the itinerary will be replaced by one of equal value or a new date will be established.

(force majeure reasons include weather alerts, acts of terrorism, new pandemic or new Covid-19 restrictions, etc.).

 

This tour is NOT transferable.

It is the passenger's responsibility to read these terms and conditions when making the reservation.
