Journey west from Edinburgh to the magnificent Kelpies. A monument paying homage to the horse's essential role in building our modern society. Built in central Scotland as a means of revitalising Scotland's historic industrial heartland.

It is not long before Stirling castle rises into view sitting atop its fantastic volcanic promontory. This magnificent fortress is at the center of so much of Scotland's history. In particular it features heavily in the wars of independence and jacobite uprisings. It also is the site of a royal palace and banqueting hall. Here you will visit and be steeped in the history of “the key to Scotland” as the castle is known. 

From the castle you have a magnificent view over to the Wallace monument. Erected by the Victorians to celebrate the life and deeds of Scotland’s most famous freedom fighter in our campaigns to free ourselves from English tyranny.

Lunch in Stirling.

Now we head a little further west into the Loch Lomond and Trossachs national park. We will take a walk by beautiful Lochs, Highland coos and more lovely fresh air.

Final stop of the tour, the gargantuan bridges. Scotland's largest structures, seen from the lovely seaside town of South Queensferry. 

After which, you are dropped off in Edinburgh at your accommodation or place of your choosing.
